Case law

The term "Geneva case law" refers to all decisions rendered by the Geneva judicial authorities.

Direct access to a ruling

Published case law includes all decisions that have been explicitly made available to the public on the initiative of the Judiciary Power (PJ). The publication may be made through several channels (legal newsletters, Internet sites, etc.). The content of the publication is not necessarily identical to the text of the original decision : this text can be blacked out (deletion of information allowing the identification of the parties in order to protect privacy); it can be summarized (publication of "case law sheets"); it can also be enriched (addition of comments, keywords, summaries, etc.).
