Organization
Major property projects are managed at management level by the Head of Property Projects. The management team comprises the following organisational units:
• logistics operations;
• financial services;
• safety and security.
Logistical and real estate operations Service
This service groups together all the operational activities for the courts and directorates. It is responsible for managing the distribution and dispatch of mail as well as internal mail. It coordinates, plans and carries out the operational follow-up of relocations.It manages the purchase of goods and services for the Judiciary power. It provides reproduction and digitisation services. Finally, it provides hospitality services (receptions).
It is responsible for providing magistrates, employees and users with sufficient and suitable premises. It ensures the adaptation, maintenance and cleaning of the buildings in close collaboration with the Cantonal buildings Office.
The Department is responsible for providing well-arranged and furnished premises for magistrates, judicial officers and staff, as well as for users. It ensures the adaptation, maintenance and upkeep of buildings and premises in close collaboration with the OCBA.
Financial services
The financial services Department is responsible for the general accounting of the Judiciary power, including the payment of service providers, the financial execution of judicial decisions, and the management of cash flow, debtors and debt collection (excluding criminal cases), provisional accounts and rent deposits.
Safety and security
This Department is responsible for ensuring the physical safety of individuals, preventing damage to property, providing protection against break-ins, theft and various crimes, and combating disasters, particularly fires, at all sites under the jurisdiction of the Judiciary power. It works closely with the courts and cantonal administrative services (police, cantonal detention office).
